The second prize of the 'El Niño' lottery, which went to number 44,469 - worth 75,000 euros per tenth - and which has been widely distributed throughout Spain, was partly sold in the Cantabrian town of Treceño, where He has left around 4.5 million euros.
Specifically, it has been recorded in the Ramón store-bar, located in the Requejo neighborhood of the town, belonging to the municipality of Valdáliga. Its owner, Juan Antonio Mantilla, does not know exactly how many tenths he has sold, but he estimates that more than fifty - about 60 - according to what he indicated in a telephone conversation.
He explained that he acquired the number "at random" from the machine in his establishment, and distributed it among neighbors, and regular customers, "everyday" and "working people," he added.
Some of them have approached the store after the Phone Number List extraordinary draw this Thursday, January 6, and upon hearing the news, to thank the person in charge.
Mantilla is "very happy" for having shared the fortune, especially taking into account the "need" there is, since "many" residents of the area and customers of the store-bar are unemployed, as noted.
"People already needed a prize," said the owner of the business, who had already awarded another notable prize previously, of 12,000 euros.
MAIN PRIZES
The number 41,665 has been awarded the 'Gordo' of the Extraordinary Draw of 'El Niño' , endowed with 2,000,000 euros per series.
It has remained entirely in Logroño, specifically, in administration six of the capital of Rioja, located in Muro del Carmen de Logroño.
The second prize, worth 750,000 euros per series, was for number 44,469 and was widely distributed throughout the country.
Meanwhile, the third prize went to number 19,467, worth 250,000 euros per series.
