We are one day away from the 2018 World Cup in Russia. This aims to be one of the best football events and also wants to stand out by being the World Cup with less discrimination and more equality and fulfilling the goal of eliminating racism in the stadiums.

However, the next venue for the 2022 World Cup is also being prepared: Qatar.

But not everything is hunky with flakes. Recently, a report from the Argentine Foundation for International Democracy was released, denouncing the "reprehensible" working and human conditions in which foreign workers in the infrastructure of the Qatar 2022 World Cup work.

For this reason, the president of the AQB Directory Foundation, Guillermo Whpei, presented the report in Madrid: " The plot of exploitation and corruption of the Qatar 2022 World Cup" and held the Qatari authorities, companies and FIFA responsible for the situation.

The inhuman working conditions in which foreign workers work in the infrastructure of the Qatar 2022 World Cup were denounced.

"They are going to play in stadiums bathed in blood, our idea is to talk to footballers and football federations to tell them."

This document is based on research by Amnesty International (AI), the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC), Human Right Watch and the International Labor Organization (ILO).

It is worth mentioning that Whpei attacked the International Labor Organization (ILO) because, as he assured, this organization "took everything for granted, everything is perfect" in Qatar.

Data from Amnesty International, about two thousand people have died to date in these works, mainly Nepalis. In addition, Whpei said that there are 40 million "slaves" in the world, who directly or indirectly produce much of what we consume.

"The designation of Qatar 2022 was "flawed" and there are thousands of people who suffer "slavery", especially foreigners."

The country has about two million migrant workers, which are about 95% of the total workforce. 40% are employed in construction.

It was also reported that for construction, the days are 16 and 18 hours without weekly rest, delayed salaries, work in high temperatures, in unhealthy conditions and overcrowded accommodations.
