Imagine that you are writing and suddenly you make a spelling mistake, but you don't know what the mistake is and it is something that bothers you, since you have been writing that same word for years! Blocking certain basic spelling rules is common , even for people who speak and write fluent Spanish. Spanish is a complex language due to its grammar, an example of this is that hundreds of native speakers and writers find it difficult to master this language. No one is saved, and that is why here are 7 basic spelling rules that you cannot forget. For those blocks and continuous learning. 1. Don't forget capital letters One of the basic rules of spelling is the correct use of capital letters . And although it is easier to identify than other rules, there are specific cases where it is more common for people to get confused. Here are some of the important points where you should consider the use of capital letters: After a period followed, or a full stop. Diacritical Tilde Something that surely confuses you at times is the diacritical accent. This accent is used to differentiate words that are spelled the same but have different meanings. For example: “Now you will be the one who prepares your Job Function Email List  party”, do you like tea?,… One of the secrets to identifying accentuation is through words: Acute They are the words that have the accent due to intensity in the voice in the last syllable or at the end . However, some have an accent or spelling accent, such as words that end in a vowel (such as ma má or ca fé ), in N or S (such as truck or Paris ). Grave or flat These words have the accent due to intensity in the voice or spelling accent on the penultimate syllable . For example: easy , skillful , Spain , cooking , ta sa ,… EYE! Consider that singular and plural words are also affected by accent .

For example: truck-trucks, pants-pants, song-songs. Esdrújulas These words have the orthographic accent (important to differentiate it from the accent or intensity of the voice) in the penultimate syllable. For example: bird , chemistry , Saturday , machine , page , among others. Aboutsdrújulas They are the words that have the accent due to the intensity of the voice in the syllable before the penultimate one. For example: quickly , warmly , technologically , practically , democratically , among others. Keep in mind that to identify the stress in these words you must count the syllables from right to left. 3. Don't forget to place the points Just as in the game of placing the dots to reveal the hidden character, in this rule you must also place them so that a text takes shape and is understood. The point is one of the bases of every writing or text , since its coherence will depend on it. This through long pauses at the end of a sentence, full stop, full stop, colon, and an endless number of them that we will present to you below: Point and followed This point is used to separate sentences within the same paragraph .
