What aid is there to buy electric bicycles and scooters

There is still no aid at the state level to buy electric bicycles and scooters (although work is being done on it and it is likely that, in the next budgets, subsidies will appear in this direction).

What there is is aid that is given in some Autonomous Communities , both in the case of electric bicycles and in the case of electric scooters.

In this sense, we have the Valencian Community, which approved €500,000 to subsidize the purchase of this type of vehicle. Thus, subsidies ranging from €75 to €250 are offered depending on the type of vehicle purchased (for example, €250 for electric Belgium WhatsApp Number List bicycles that do not exceed €1,400 in price, are urban, have a range of about 50 kilometers and its electric motor is maximum 250W).



They also offer €200 for bicycle electrification kits , the price of which may not exceed €600. Aid for the value of €75 is also included for the purchase of conventional bicycles with a maximum price of €500 and urban type. Finally, €75 is also offered for electric scooters whose price does not exceed €450.

To receive these aids, you must reside in the Valencian Community and only those purchases that fit the criteria mentioned above with a date after June 22, 2020 will be subsidized. In addition, the store where you made the purchase must be attached to the call for aid.

For its part, the Community of Madrid plans a budget of 2.5 million euros to help buy electric vehicles for personal mobility, which include electric scooters and electric bicycles, but also emission-free mopeds and motorcycles. However, it has not yet been approved and the details of the plan are not known.
